Iran movie ‘Azar’ arrives for home theaters

 Iranian film ‘Azar’ has been offered for home release since Wednesday, November 29, 2017.

The movie produced by Niki Karimi has gone into the home release since Wednesday morning.

“I had aspirations for myself. I wanted to become a champion. I wanted to resist what the society imposes on me,” a short synopsis of the movie reads.

Niki Karimi, Hamidreza Azarang, Farid Sajjadi Hosseini, Hasti Mahdavi, Leila Zare, Maedeh Tahmasebi, Pejman Jamshidi and Houman Seyyedi star in the movie.

'Azar' is Iranian actress Niki Karimi's second production after 'Night Shift' while she has also directed three other movies so far. 

Born in 1971, Karimi's interest in films and literature inspired her to become an actress at a very young age.

She has starred in many Iranian films and series and won several awards at national and international film festivals.
